Parents, the Jazz Benefit is just around the corner on April 9th. As we have done in previous years, we are asking the students to help support the Jazz Benefit Auction by having each section select a theme and create a gift basket to be auctioned off.
The following information was sent home with the students last week. Please check with your student to make sure their section has both selected a theme and is working towards donations. All donations can be dropped off in the band room along with the student’s name and approximate value. We are asking for all donations to be submitted by March 31st.

The 10th Annual Jazz Benefit is coming quickly and we need your help! We are again asking for each section to pick a theme for a basket for our silent auction and provide donations for the basket that will be auctioned at the benefit. Some suggestions are below, but please be creative and pick a topic that you feel will generate fun/healthy bidding at the auction.
Here’s what we are asking you to do:
- Each section decide on a basket theme
- Section leaders let Mr. Wright know the theme to avoid duplicates and get final approval
- Once your theme is approved, shop for items and bring to class. If you prefer to bring in cash, that is acceptable as well and the committee will be happy to do the shopping for you.
Please have all items turned in by March 31st
